Gelato circles!

I now have a circle quilt top:

gelatocircles

Huzzah!

I also finished the garment I was having a time with recently:

Olivia tunic

This is the Olivia Tunic from Kay Whitt’s Serendipity Studio pattern. Remind me to make more fabric-covered buttons, OK?

  21. I can’t tell you how much I LOVE your circle quilt. Your use of color was outstanding!

Bravo!…The quilt is just beautiful, just as I knew it would be. But seriously….the way you matched up that darling giant print on the tunic — with the little leaves up the front and the flowers placed just so — and the buttons all done exactly the same with the four dots. Well….I just love that kind of attention to detail.

Gorgeous quilt, the colours are amazing. Do you use the same coloured thread to machine applique? Love the tunic as well, it’s finished off beautifully.

I just LOVE that circle quilt!!! Wow!!! The colors just pop!

And I just LOVE Kay Whitt’s patterns. I have met her a couple of times…she frenquents a shop near me… She is as lovely of a person as her patterns! Infact I am making two of her dresses right now…and a tunic for a friend.

So…what stitches are you going to use for the scarf? That will be amazing colors – kind of goes with your circle quilt…

    Happy Stitchin’

How in the world do you get so much DONE!?!? :o) I LOVE that Gelato top! Oh man…..love it! Not sure if I have the patience for the circle prep…maybe someday. Seems with the J-O-B, I tend to veer toward quick projects…but my soul is yearning for some lovely hand applique, some hand quilting, and other slow-moving projects. Gotta figure out a way!

What’s not to like! I like the top… the fabric is really cute Great job! And I like your quilt top… it’s more calming than the other one… it suits me better! One place I have found to look for animals, flowers, etc… is coloring books! You can find all sorts of fun… simple pictures to use for applique’s… go for the simple lines and you’ve got it made.
Your getting so much done! Good for you!
