Yesterday was my cotton anniversary — two years of this blog.
Since the traditional gift of the second anniversary IS cotton, of course, there is a little cotton giveaway. I’ll be sending off eight fat quarters of cheery, festive Monaco and Pretty Please fabrics. I still can’t get enough of these fun fabrics I’ve been using in the Birdcage quilt and in the Lover’s Knot/Rose Dream blocks! The winner can even specify whether she/he prefers pink/orange, blue/green or a mix in the stack.
I’ll be giving one entry to all commenters up to now on my last 10 posts, one entry for commenting on this post and one entry if you post a link to this giveaway on your blog (email me a link to your post at alobsiger(at)gmail.com). You’ll have until Friday, April 17 at 11:59 pm EST to enter. I’ll announce the winner on Saturday, April 18.

Congrats on 2 years of Mrs S Quilts! I love popping by and visiting, altho I do have to say that this blogging business is costing me lots of $$$. I was managing to find plenty of “must have” fabric all by myself, but with the help of lovely, crafty bloggers such as yourself, I’m finding even more fabric that I just “have to have”, the Monaco fabric falls into this category. I’ve resisted temptation so far, mostly because no-one on etsy seems to have any. I’d love to win some from your stash.
I’m so loving your Lover’s Knot block, I even showed my mum your blog when she came to visit for Easter. She couldn’t figure out if you’d done reverse applique or curved piecing either, so I clued her in.
